Canton- Robert “Bob” Eugene "Tuck" Tucker, Jr., age 64, of Twin Oaks Road, passed away Thursday, August 3, 2017.
Mr. Tucker was born December 22, 1952 to the late Robert Eugene Tucker, Sr. and the late Marjorie Crisman Civitelli . He was a native of Venango County, Pennsylvania and had resided in Boca Raton, Florida before making his home in Haywood County since 1994. Mr. Tucker honorably served his country as a United States Army Veteran serving in Vietnam. He was the owner and operator of Special T Gutters of Canton. Mr. Tucker was a member of Longs United Methodist Church in Canton. Bob had been very active with the Boy Scouts of America, serving as a Scout Master in Florida for 18 years. “Tuck” loved the mountains, enjoyed fishing and also riding motorcycles. His family was an important part of his life and he loved each of them deeply.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Clyde Earl Tucker and Stephen Tucker.
Survivng are his sons, Steven Tucker and Amanda of Canton, Justin Tucker of Canton, Nathan Wikiera of Glenns Falls, New York , Shannen Tucker of Glenn Fall, New York, Robert E. Tucker, III of Greensboro and Chad Putnam of Canton; grandchildren, Jennifer Tucker and Chloe Lee Reed Tucker; his best and former wife, Bonnie Tucker of Canton ; a sister, Donna Tucker Manciocchi of Williamsport, Pennsylvania ; brothers, Mike Tucker and Chickie Silverio, Robbie Tucker of Orlando, Florida and Paul Tucker of Orlando, Florida and also his son, Justin’s beloved service dog,” Roxy” and many dear friends.
A celebration of life service with military honors will be held at 4:00 pm Sunday, August 20, 17 at Longs United Methodist Church, Coffee Branch Road in Canton. Pastor Erin Williams Rubel will be officiating. The family will be receiving friends at the church following the service.
