Asheville- On July 7, 2018, Jerry Lee Webb, age 69, was called to his eternal place of peace and glory on the special day of his birth, which was July 7, 1949, and will today celebrate his home going in heaven.

Mr. Webb was a lifelong native of Buncombe County and was the son of the late Herman Wesley Webb and the late Evelyn Hutchinson Webb.  During his early years he had been employed in the maintenance department of several textile mills but most recently he had been a dedicated farmer and working and tending his land was his great passion. He was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. Jerry loved the mountains, spending time outdoors, fishing in his favorite streams and spending endless hours in his garden. He also loved his dogs and a happy pastime for Jerry was watching his favorite cartoons!  He held a great love for all of his family, he deeply cherished his wife and his pride and joy were his precious daughters and grandchildren. Jerry Lee has touched the lives of many people and he will be deeply missed.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.

 Surviving are his loving wife, Kim Radford Webb of Asheville;  daughters, Eva Elizabeth Trull and  her husband, Kenneth Trull  of Asheville, Teresa Diane Webb and her fiancé, Billy Love of Rutherfordton, Janice Lee Webb of Asheville , Evelyn Nicole Burrows of Asheville and Lise Simpson and her husband, Travis Simpson of Asheville; grandchildren, Sandra Trull ( Wes Norris),  Samantha Pulliam, Kenneth Trull, Chucky Pulliam (Kayla Pulliam), Travis Trull  (Cain Trull) and Brandon Pulliam; great-grandchildren, Spencer, Christian, Austin, Joseph, Gage, Bently and Kolby ; a brother, Larry Wesley Webb (Nannie) of Leicester and a special friend, Candida Pearsall of Mars Hill.

A time of gathering for family and friends will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at Crawford / Ray Funeral Home and Cremation Service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The American Diabetes Association at 2451 Crystal Drive, Suite 900, Arlington, VA 22202, The American Cancer Society at PO Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123, and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
