Robbinsville - Paul Arthur Blevins, age 58, passed away peacefully at Mission Hospital on Saturday, September 15, 2018 surrounded by his loving family.

Mr. Blevins was born July 8, 1960 in Swain County to the late Wayne Blevins and the late Clara Shope Blevins. As a child, he had moved to Robbinsville where made his home and his legacy. Paul worked as a heavy equipment operator, having worked many construction jobs throughout the Eastern United States, and as a small engine repairman with Orr Small Engines. Paul loved to go fishing and hunting, but above all, he loved his family, especially watching his grandchildren play youth football. Paul was a true comedian with a wonderful sense of humor, and was loved by many. He will be missed.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Ernest Blevins, Bechard Blevins, and infant brother, Ray Blevins; and sisters, Charlotte Jenkins, and infant sister, Waynette Blevins.

Surviving are his wife, Melissa Orr Blevins; three children, Andy Blevins, Randy Blevins and his wife, Tamelah Smith, and Brandy Patterson and her husband, Brett, all of Robbinsville; grandchildren, Dalton, Kaylee, Jadyn, McKenzie, Rylee Paul, and Braylon; brothers, Richard Blevins and his wife, Gail, of Maryville, TN, Kenny Blevins and his wife, Nancy, of Robbinsville, Donnie Blevins of Robbinsville, and Tony Blevins of Black Mountain; sisters, Brenda Jordan and her husband, Melvin, and Patsy Monroe and her husband, Steve, both of Robbinsville; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews whom he loved dearly. He is also survived by his beloved dogs, Wiskey, Mixie Pearl, and Josie.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
