We were saddened to read of Bob's passing but we know he is in a better place. We were lucky enough to be neighbors of the James and they were the first ones to welcome us to the neighborhood. His laugh and his sense of humor will remain in our memories for many years so he will be in our hearts forever. Our prayers and condolences go to dear Jackie and the entire family. We extend our prayers and sympathies to the family and friends of Rev. James. He was our pastor at St. John’s Methodist in Aiken. He was a kind man that provided many fond memories for our entire family. We thought so highly of him that we even named one of our children James in his honor. He was a fine man that will be missed.

Rev. James married my husband and I at St. John's UMC in Aiken SC. He was our minister till he moved to another church. I remember him always smiling, giving a young couple great advice, and being a friend to us. See you in Heaven one day Rev. James.
