Loved His Family
Waynesville- Roy DeWayne Cagle, age 50, a loving father and grandfather, entered into his eternal glorious heavenly home on Thursday, August 8, 2019.
DeWayne was born December 6, 1968 to the late Roy Dale Cagle and the late Susan Ann Rider. He had made his home in Haywood County most of his life and had been employed in the construction industry as a roofer. Some of DeWayne’s favorite times were spent listening to music and being outdoors among the mountains that he loved, going hunting and fishing. DeWayne will be deeply missed and his memory will forever be cherished by his family and friends.
In addition to his parents,he was preceded in death by the mother of his children, Kimberly Inman.
Surviving are his children, Ashley Silvers (Daniel Reid) of East Flat Rock, North Carolina; Scott Cagle (Brittany Piurowski) of Bradenton, Florida and Blake Cagle of Burlington,North Carolina; grandchildren, Colby, Jenna, Jordan, Briley and Kimber; brothers, Roy Cagle of Canton, Richard Cagle of Canton, Timmy Cagle of Canton; CJ Watson of Canton and Ray Winchester of Waynesville; a sister, Jamie Bennett of Waynesville; many nieces and nephews and a special friend, Michele Rice of Waynesville.
A gathering of family and friends to celebrate the life of DeWayne will be held Saturday, September 7, 2019. Please contact the family for additional information regarding the celebration of life gathering.
