Bryson City/Canton – On Saturday, March 3, 2018, Samantha Lynn White Harris, age 27, was carried home by the angels.
Samantha was born November 5, 1990. She had resided most of her life in Haywood County before making her home in Bryson City for the past seven years. She was the daughter of Kimberly Sue Harris of Canton and Marty Lynn White of Canton. Samantha had been employed as a home health caregiver in Bryson City. She was a loving mother and cherished her time with her boys, Bently and Braxton. As we remember our beloved Samantha, let us know that perhaps the stars are windows in heaven where the love of those we have lost shine down to let us know they are at peace.
Preceding her in death is her grandfather, Milford Millisock.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her sons; Bently Robert Harris of the home and his father, Raymond Thomasson of Bryson City and Braxton Paul Edward Fisher of the home and his father, Timothy Ray Fisher, Jr. of Bryson City; her grandparents, Joe Robert Harris of Canton, Phyllis King of Canton and Edna Millisock of Canton and many other family members who loved Samantha.
A Celebration of Life Service for Samantha will be held at 4:00 p.m. Thursday, March 8, 2018 in the chapel of Crawford / Ray Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Canton. Pastor Bobby Rogers will be officiating. The family will be welcoming and receiving friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.

The Samantha Harris Memorial Fund has been established to benefit Samantha’s sons, Bently and Braxton through Champion Credit Union, 1 Academy Street, Canton, NC 28716.
