Waynesville- Sharion “Granny” Louise Moody Robinson, age 64, was carried home by the angels on Tuesday, November 27, 2018.

Sharion  was born September 8, 1954 and was a lifelong resident of Haywood County. She had been employed for more than 30 dedicated years with Ammons Drive In and had also worked at the Huddle House for the last 10 years.  Sharion will always be remembered as a kind person, someone who cared about all animals and her great love for all of her family will always be treasured by each of them. “Granny” as Sharion was lovingly called by those that knew and loved her, will never ever be forgotten. Her memory will be in our hearts forever.

She was preceded in death by her father, Harry Moody and her mother, Opal Mae Moore Moody ; one sister and five brothers.

Surviving are her daughters, Bobbie Jo Moore of Waynesville, Jennifer Robinson of Canton and Kelli Lovin of Waynesville ; grandchildren, Kelsi  Myers of Waynesville, McKenzie Morris of Waynesville and Jonathan Morris of Waynesville; a sister, Mary Layel of Gastonia ; also many nieces, nephews  and friends.

A celebration of life service for Sharion will be held at a later date. At the request of the family, Memorials may be made to Crawford / Ray Funeral Home to help the family with funeral expenses.

I will always remember granny with a smile on her face! A dedicated, hard working mother who would give you anything she had if had it and you needed it. She loved hard and fought hard for happiness in this life. You deserve the wonders of the next one. Rest in peace.
I used to visit Sharon's home when her brother Billy and I played music. She was a very kind and friendly person. Hadn't seen her in many years. My condolences to her family.
