Fairview  – Sharon Jeanette Clark Patterson, age 64, was carried home by the angels on Wednesday, September 12, 2018.

Mrs. Patterson was born August 16, 1954 in Buncombe County to the late Linnard Paul Clark and the late Rebecca King Clark. She had resided in Canton, having attended Pisgah High School, before making her home in Buncombe County, and had been employed as a Certified Nursing Assistant with Stroupe’s Rest Home in Asheville, always caring for patients with her kind and giving heart. Her compassionate nature extended to everybody she ever met, with a uniquely special love for her children and grandchildren. Sharon never forgot to call somebody on their birthday, absolutely adored Elvis, and loved to eat banana pudding, chicken and dumplings, and anything with chocolate. She had a gift for the arts and loved to draw. She deeply loved all of her family and Sharon’s precious memory will be cherished forever.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Michael, Craig, and Cleveland Clark; and a grandson, Aaron Hall.

Surviving are her children, Travis Hall and his wife, Stephanie, of Six Mile, SC, and Shonda Isgitt and her husband, Joe, of Anderson, SC; siblings, Ricky Clark and his wife, Cindy, of Canton, and Pauline Luther of Fletcher; four grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved very much.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 3:00 pm, Sunday, September 23, 2018 in the chapel of Crawford / Ray Funeral Home in Canton, with Rev. Gary Brown and Mr. Bobby Searcey officiating. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.

Crawford / Ray Funeral Home and Cremation Service is honored to be caring for the Clark family.

Dear Family: I have know Sharon for many, many years. It breaks my heart to know she is no longer with us. But I have talked with her on numerous occasions and I know she had given her hear to Jesus. She would tell me every time we talked how much she loved me. She is no loner in pain or suffering for any reason. She is with the Lord now. I pray for peace for all of the family and for grace and strength to carry on until we meet her again! Love to you all and God bless each one....
