Canton- On September 22, 2020, Albert “Kyle” Sutton peacefully joined his beloved wife of 52 years, Margaret Kemp Sutton, and his beloved son, James Steven “Orange” Sutton in Heaven.

Kyle was born on May 1, 1948 in Cocke County, Tennessee, and had resided in Canton, NC with his beloved wife, Margaret. He now leaves behind his siblings, Wilma Sutton Moore, Lena Sutton Roberts, Lawrence Sutton and wife, Lucille Sutton, Henry Sutton and his wife, Wilma Sutton, as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and countless friends.

In addition to his wife and son, Kyle was preceded in death by his father, Elbert Sutton; his mother, Eva Barnes Sutton; sisters, Ila Sutton Campbell, Wanda Sutton Campbell, Robert Sutton, Ruble Sutton, Tom Sutton and Jack Sutton

Mr. Sutton was a hardworking, loving, and supporting father and husband who lived life to its fullest, enjoying the simplest things in life that were always the most rewarding. Kyle’s world until the very end was with his wife, his 14-year-old Shih Tzu, Rose a.k.a. Cookie, and his cats. He worked the majority of his life at WNC Pallet having a huge passion for working with wood and also becoming a fantastic craftsman. After retiring Kyle became one of the biggest " pickers " in Haywood County, having a passion for antiques like no other, always wheeling and dealing, hoping for some “live action” as he would call it. It is said of Kyle that he had a way of connecting individuals and developing lifelong friendships that will never be forgotten. Kyle will always be remembered for the strength and fighting spirit he had to live life every day, his “never give up” attitude, and the selflessness he had in helping others.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, September 26, 2020 at Morning Star Community Cemetery in Canton. Pastor Janice Ford and Pastor Roy Kilby will be officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mr. Sutton's memory to the Morning Star Community Cemetery Fund, PO Box 1746, Canton, NC 28716.

Crawford / Ray Funeral Home and Cremation Service is honored to be caring for the Sutton family.

Kyle and Margaret were both special friends to us. We enjoyed visiting with them, sitting in the yard, watching the cats and solving the problems of the world , we had such fun laughing and talking. I know within my heart the assurance they are sitting in the presence of God, with no more worries, nor pain. What a wonderful eternity we have in store because of Jesus. We know how much they were loved by Matt and Misty. What a blessing for Margaret and Kyle in this special couple , whom they considered their son and daughter. Love and prayers for all that called Kyle and Margaret family and friends. Daron and Linda
