Loved So Dearly

Photo of Angelia Lynn Hill - 1976-2020

Angelia  Lynn Hill, age 43, lost her courageous battle with cancer on June 30, 2020 as she was lovingly surrounded by her family at her home in Bethel.

Angelia was one of the sweetest souls that has ever been on this earth.  She lit up any room that she walked into with her delightful personality and she never ever met a stranger.  Angelia was blessed with a kind and caring heart and she was indeed a true and faithful friend to those who knew her and loved her. Education was important to Angelia and she had completed her Associate’s Degree and was to receive her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work in three months.  Upon her graduation, Angelia had planned to continue her education at Western Carolina University where she would receive a Master’s Degree.   Angelia’s true goal in life was to become a substance abuse counselor and to give of herself to help others and to always be a positive and healing force in the lives of others.  Our Angelia will be missed beyond measure by so many.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Lorie Hurst.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving wife of 12 years, Christy Putnam; three children, Seth Putnam, Makayla Putnam ( Codey Brown) and Michael Stiles II ( Brooklyn); a grandchild, Ariah Brown; her father, Jeffrey Hill; her grandfather, Carroll Hill;  her brother, Jimmy Hill (Lily);  a niece, Summer Hill; a nephew, James Hill and many close friends that were also just like family in Angelia’s eyes.

A  special time for family and friends to celebrate Angelia’s life will be held from 2:00 until 6:00 pm Thursday, July 16, 2020 at the Chapel located at The Lake Junaluska Assembly.

Crawford / Ray Funeral Home and Cremation Service is honored to be caring for the Hill family.

I graduated HCC with Angie and am devastated. A kinder soul could not be found. She would help anyone and be the first in line to do so. I had hoped she would achieve her dream but know she touched so many lives. She will truly be missed.

I love you sister and will miss you so much. You was so important to so many. I will always keep your memory alive as long as im here. Rest easy sis, we will see each other again.
I had the absolute honor of teaching Angelia at Wester Carolina and enjoyed every minute of being around her! She was full of life, hope, and had a heart of gold. I know that she would have brought so much to the field of substance abuse. I feel privileged to have been a part of her education. Angelia LOVED her family and I wish all of you peace during this difficult time. Blessings to all of you.
