Anita Harville Davis

Maggie Valley – Anita Harville Davis, age 73, passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2020.
Anita was born February 19, 1947, a daughter of the late Leslie Harville and the late Martha Sexton Harville Truett.
She was a native of London, Kentucky, and had also resided in Cincinnati, Ohio before making her home in Bryson City in 1991. Mrs. Davis had dedicated her life to the care of others and was employed as a nurse’s assistant. Anita will always be remembered for her kind and tender spirit, and her deep love for her family.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Mitchell Thomas Davis; sister, Ionia Kleinweachter; and brothers, Donald Truett, and Carl Harville.
Surviving are her children, Tina Elliott and husband Chad of Franklin, Michael Davis of Franklin, and Dwane Davis of Daytona, FL; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and sisters, Janice Sizemore and husband Ronnie of Hamilton, OH, and Vicie Miller of Fort Thomas, KY.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm Monday, March 16, 2020 in Bryson City. The family will receive friends in the chapel of Crawford / Ray Funeral Home Monday, March 16 from 12:00 until 1:00 pm prior to the graveside service.
