Anthony Lamar Delancey
In Loving Memory
Sylva- Anthony Lamar Delancey, age 33, passed away peacefully in the early morning of Wednesday, January 1, 2020.
Anthony was a very special young man who brought happiness to those around him. He held an appreciation for the many joys that life can offer, of which his favorite activities were listening to music, watching race cars speeding around the track, listening to the changing sounds while driving through the tunnels around the mountains where he had made his home, and feeling the air whoosh over him while swinging at the park. The love that Anthony brought out in others will forever be remembered by those who were blessed to know him.
Preceded in death by his paternal foster grandparents, Bill and Mary Snyder; maternal foster grandfathers, Ed Mathis and Larry Woodring; and maternal foster uncle, Scott Mathis.
Surviving are his loving foster family: parents, Randy and Pam Snyder; brother, Nik Lata; sisters, Kaitlyn Snyder Hawkins (Chandler), and Emily Williams; a nephew, Landyn Harkins; and two biological sisters.
The memorial service was held Saturday, January 4, 2020 at Sylva Church of God with Br. Timothy Pressley officiating.
