Waynesville- Christine Maude Ducker Williams, age 52, a special lady that was blessed with a kind and caring heart, passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2022.

Christine was born March 4, 1970 in Buncombe County to Charlene Eugenia Locherer Gentry and the late Charles Edward Ducker. She had resided most of her life in Haywood County and everyone blessed to know Christine loved her! She had been employed as a Certified Nursing Assistant II with Maggie Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation and where she cared for all her patients and families with great love and respect each and every day. Her beautiful smile brought comfort and assurance to the residents and her willingness to always make everyone feel happy and cared for was a true blessing.  Christine was a strong-willed lady, an amazing wife, a wonderful mother, and a dear sister. She was also greatly loved by many of her children’s friends and was just like another mother to each of them. “When God made you, Christine, he made the world a more wonderful place.” We give thanks for your life and rejoice that you are in your eternal glorious heavenly place.

Christine was preceded in death by her father, Charles Edward Ducker; a niece, Tiffany Ducker, and a nephew, Vincent North.

Surviving in addition to her mother, Charlene Eugenie Gentry of Candler, are her devoted husband of 31 years, Robert Dean Williams, Jr. of Waynesville; children, Travis Ducker of Canton, Robin Williams of Tallahassee, FL, Nikki Williams of Waynesville, and Levi Garner of Waynesville; brother, Norman Ducker and wife Angelina of Greensboro; and sisters, Catherine Bailey and husband James of Old Fort, and Norma Jean LaFalce of Leicester.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, June 3, 2022 in the chapel of Crawford / Ray Funeral Home and Cremation Service. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.

Crawford / Ray Funeral Home and Cremation Service is honored to be caring for the Williams family.

Christine was a wonderful person. I got the pleasure of working alongside of her. She will always hold a special place in my heart as she was like another mother to me. Fly high sweet angel and until we meet again RIP.

We are keeping the entire family in our prayers, and we pray Jesus will give you all strength, comfort and peace. Christine will be greatly missed; we have fond memories of happy times when we were growing up, and especially our last Ducker Family reunion at Douglas Lake in Tennessee. We love you all.

I am so sorry that I won’t be able to make it to visitation or her services. I want the entire family to know that I love you all very much. Christine was a great friend that I could always depend on and it was an honor to know her and be able to call her my friend. Her family is amazing and I am grateful to know them.
