A Good and Faithful Man

Photo of Clemmy Marion Justice - 1931-2024

In the serene embrace of the mountains surrounding Haywood County resided a good and faithful man, Clemmy Marion Justice, who has lived a full and wonderful life of 92 years. He peacefully passed away on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, and entered into his eternal home in Heaven.

Marion was born on September 21, 1931, to the late Robert “Bob” Justice and the late Artie Speagle Justice. Raised in the heart of a large and loving Christian family, Marion held close to the values in life that he was taught and was an inspiration to his family and all those blessed to know him. He had been employed with Broyhill Industries for more than 20 years, where he was a master of millwork. He was also a devoted family man, whose heart was filled with love and pride for all of his family. A man who loved to go fishing, he found great joy in the quiet times he spent visiting his favorite mountain streams.  Also, he loved all sports and Marion could be found watching all types of ballgames every chance he could find. Marion was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother.  His gentle and kind spirit will remain a part of us all forever.  We give thanks for his life and rejoice that he is united in Heaven with his family on this day.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 70 years, Mabel Hicks Justice who passed away in 2021; his beloved son, Ronnie Justice; his brothers, George (Flora), Carl (Annie), Charles ( Nancy), Robert Jr. (Mae), Thomas (Dorothy) and Hugh Justice; his sisters, Hattie Haney (Richard), Bonnie Woodard (Leslie) and Fannie Wells (Russell).

Surviving are his daughters, Dorothy Ramsey of Marion, Sally McKinney of Canton, and Gail Young (Mike) of Bryson City; 7 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren who loved Marion deeply.

A funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Justice will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, June 14, 2024, in the chapel of Crawford / Ray Funeral Home and Cremation Service. Pastor David Justice will be officiating. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the funeral service.

Crawford / Ray Funeral Home and Cremation Service is honored to be caring for the Justice family.

Sorry for your loss of your dad. Would love to attend the service but due to sickness I won't be able to make it.
