Clyde - Debra “Debbie” Wright, age 68, passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2022 in the comfort of her home.

Debbie was born July 12, 1954 in Lucas County, Ohio to the late Jack D. Henson and the late Rosa Robinson Henson Gentry. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Wright; brothers, Joe Henson, and Steven Henson; and a sister, Brenda Gentry.

Debbie was a caring lady and throughout her entire life she has shown compassion in helping others in any way she could. She helped to raise her four younger siblings, before raising a family of her own. As her family grew, she continued in helping raise all of her grandchildren, and even their children as well! Nothing meant more to Debbie than her family. Debbie’s love for helping others also transcended into her employment as a CNA. She held love for everyone and was always giving to others. She always gave thanks to our Lord and treated others with kindness, love, and the Word of God.

Surviving are her daughters, Shandon Wright and Crystal Ivory; grandchildren, Cody (Kyree) Wright, Jake (Brianna) Chambers, Kara Chambers, Christian (Miguel) Valdez, Zachary Wright, and Kaylyn Wright; sisters, Janet Gentry and Donna Gentry; brother, Don Gentry; 18 great-grandchildren, 7 nieces, and 5 nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Please contact the family for this information. God Bless everyone.

Ms. Wright - what a sweet soul! I met her as a child in Girl Scouts as her and my Mother were Girl Scout leaders. I never have met a kinder soul. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. I am sorry for your loss. Many, many prayers for her family during this difficult time.
