Forever In Our Hearts

Clyde- Glenna Rhodarmer Worley, age 68, a dear and beloved lady, entered into the arms of her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, May 4th, 2022.
Glenna’s life journey began on July 11, 1953 to the late Aldie Rhodarmer and the late Ethel Clontz Rhodarmer and was the last born of 14 children. She had made her home most of her life in the Leicester Community and later moved to Haywood County where she had resided for the past 22 years following the death of her parents. Glenna had been employed as a dedicated waitress with The Hungry Bull in Asheville where she made many friendships during her working years. She was a lady of great courage that dealt with a major health concern during her lifetime but she never ever gave up. Glenna will forever be remembered as a kind and caring lady that deeply loved her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Nancy Rhodarmer Broyles; her brothers, Bruce, Carroll, and Harold, and also three baby brothers.
Surviving are her sisters, Evelyn Cornwell and Pete of Mills River, and Elaine Edwards of Clyde; brothers, Charles Rhodarmer of Orangeburg, SC, Ronnie Rhodarmer and Nancy of Candler, Donnie Rhodarmer of Marshall, and Calvin Rhodarmer and Rose of Leicester; numerous nieces, nephews, and also great-nieces and nephews.
A graveside funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Worley will be held at 12:00 noon Thursday, May 12, 2022 at Morning Star Community Cemetery. Officiating will be Brian Rhodarmer. Serving as pallbearers are Todd Edwards, Michael Rhodarmer, Charlie Ballard, Grady Lunsford, Bruce Warren, and Larry Caldwell.
