Canton – Judy “Dool” Lynette Clontz Carver, age 50, of Greenberry Street, entered into the arms of the angels on Sunday, October 4, 2015. Judy was born August 5, 1965 in Haywood County to the late Ellis Clontz and the late Margaret Geneva Farmer Clontz. She had resided in Haywood County all of her life and was a devoted homemaker and an avid reader. Judy’s family was her life and she will always be remembered for her kind and caring heart. She took care of everyone – and was indeed a blessing to so very many. Even at her young age, Judy was considered to be the matriarch of the family. To know her was to love her and we shall hold our treasured memories of Judy “Dool” Carver forever in our hearts. Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Anthony James and his wife, Lara James of Canton, Joshua James of Canton and Brad James and his wife, Haley James of Waynesville; a brother, James Clontz and his wife, Robin Clontz of Clyde; a sister, Joanne Conner of Waynesville; grandchildren, Brittani Wade, Carter James, Myah James and Jayda James; great-grandchildren, Drake Smith, Drea Johnson and Layla Johnson; also several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 9, 2015 at Old River Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Center Pigeon Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the church one hour prior to the funeral service. The family of would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the staff at The Homestead in Clyde and especially to Rosie and Elizabeth for the love and special care given to Judy. Crawford / Ray Funeral Home and Cremation Service is honored to be caring for the Clontz family.

I grew up with Judy. We were friends in Jr High School. .. lost touch with her for a while, then ran into her one day and invited her to our church. She came and had a wonderful time in the Lord. We prayed and God moved. We were talking on fb and then one day, she was gone. I will always love you Judy, you were one of a kind. You will forever be missed, but I will join you one day in Glory.. Gone but not forgotten. .. I am praying for the family.. <3

I am so sorry to hear of Judy's passing. She was such a sweet and shy soul that would like up the room when she would laugh. I know she has touched so many lives unselfishly, always putting everyone's needs and wants before her own. That's what she enjoyed doing though, was taking care of her family and giving encouragement to her friends. I know the ones she left behind will miss her presence in everything they do. Treasure the memories of sweet Judy and know that we will be reunited with her again someday. My heart aches for all of her family and friends and I pray that God wrap his loving arms around each of you and give you comfort and peace in difficult days ahead♥ Love to you all ~ Sandra Lyerly Cale ~ Judy's friend and classmate ~ Pisgah ~ Class of 1983
