Linda Earley Towe
Beloved Wife, Mother, and “Granna”

Canton - Linda Earley Towe went home to be with The Lord on Saturday, September 17th, 2022 in the comfort of her loving home at the age of 73.
Linda was born February 22, 1949 in Haywood County to the late Wiley C. Earley, Sr. and the late Nellie Chapman Earley, and was a lifelong resident of Canton.
She devoted her entire life to worshipping the Lord, taking care of her family in every way, and mentoring her many beloved students whom she taught in the computer lab at Clyde Elementary School.
Linda lived an amazing life full of traveling, sharing quality time with her loved ones, and being a high faithful presence in her church. Mrs. Towe was a role model, a selfless woman, a true nurturer, and a devoted prayer warrior. She touched the lives of every person she encountered through prayer, her uplifting spirit, and her exceptional kindness. Linda enjoyed camping at Davidson River, the peaceful morning time, cooking and baking for any and every occasion, and sharing stories and memories of her youth with her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Wiley and Nellie Earley, she was preceded in death by her brother, Wiley Earley, Jr.
Surviving are her loving husband and best friend of 48 years, Jerry Towe; a son, James Towe and his wife Lisa Towe; a daughter, Brook Sharpe and her husband Stephen Sharpe; grandchildren, Dare Towe, Kayson Cody and her husband Will, Jesson Jones, Seth Roberts and his family, Marley and Lynley Sharpe; her great-granddaughter, Kingsley Cody; her sister, Inga Carter and her husband Marshall Carter and family.
A Memorial Service to honor and celebrate the life of Linda will be held at 5:00 pm Friday, September 23rd at Mountain View Church of God in Canton to celebrate her amazing life. The family will greet friends immediately following the Memorial Service.
