Louise Green Teague
A Woman Loved By Everyone

CLYDE - During the evening hours of Thursday, January 19, 2023, Louise Green Teague, 90, was called to her Heavenly home by her Lord and Savior. The room was filled with great peace and also the loving presence of her sons, Michael and Ronald, as she entered into her place of glory.
Louise was born November 17, 1932, to the late Thurman Green and the late Doshie Stamey Green. She was a lifelong native of Haywood County. Mrs. Teague was a devout Christian and was a member of Lake Junaluska First Baptist Church.
Reading and studying her Bible was an important part of her life and she faithfully read it each day. What a blessing to know Louise; she was a woman with a kind and caring spirit and everyone that she knew or that became acquainted with her treasured her friendship.
She was a Homemaker who enjoyed cooking and baking for her family. She enjoyed watching old movies from the 30's and 40's. Louise had a great passion for gospel music and singing in the Choir.
Louise and Leon spent time traveling all across the United States, visiting 49 states and also visiting Canada. Louise held great pride and love in her heart for all of her family and she will forever be remembered as a devoted wife, a wonderful mother, grandmother, great grandmother. We rejoice and give thanks for her life and for what she has meant to so many throughout her life.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Teague was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey Leon Teague; and her daughter, Belinda Gail Teague.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Michael Gene Teague and his wife, Catherine and Ronald Dean Teague and his wife, Susan; two sisters Lucille Swanger and Beatrice Lloyd; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren with another one on the way; two step-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren; and a multitude of friends.
The family wishes to express their sincere thanks and gratitude to the staff of Autumn Care of Waynesville for their kindness and care provided to Mrs. Teague.
A graveside funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, January 27, 2023, at Crawford / Ray Memorial Gardens in Clyde. The Rev. David Trull will be officiating.
Crawford/Ray Funeral Home and Cremation Service is honored to be caring for the Teague family.
Condolences from family and friends
