Franklin – Millard Earl Harvey, age 91, of Allison Watts Road in Franklin, passed away Tuesday, November 3, 2015 surrounded by his loving family.

Mr. Harvey was a native of Mottville, Michigan and was the son of the late George Harvey and the late Gladys Hackman Harvey. He had honorably served his country in the United States Army and retired with more than 23 years of dedicated service. After his military career Mr. Harvey later retired from Post Foods-Cereal Division of Battle Creek, Michigan with 17 years of service. Mr. Harvey was a member of Word Worship in Centerville, Michigan. He was a Master Mason of Colon Lodge #73 F. & AM, a member of the Colon American Legion for 49 years and he held a lifetime membership of VFW Post #5319. Millard Earl Harvey was a friend to many and he shall never be forgotten.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Valerie Gregrich; four brothers, Stanley, Gene, Howard and Melvin; and a sister, Wilma.

Surviving are his loving wife, Martine Grubb of Franklin; daughters, Velvet, Vicky, Vanessa and Vivian, all of Colon, Michigan; a son, Millard Harvey, Jr. of Colon, Michigan; many grandchildren; great- grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Maxine, Gloria, Joann and Joyce and also many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life service for Mr. Harvey will be held in the spring season of 2016 and will be announced.
