Nettie Tatham Broyles, 93, passed away on March 16, 2024.  She was a source of true joy and strength to her family and friends throughout her 93 years of life.

Nettie and her twin sister Bettie were born on November 17, 1930, to the late Henry and Victoria Tatham.  In addition to her parents, Nettie was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Gwyn Broyles who passed in 2001; her son Roger Broyles who also passed in 2001 and brothers, Olin and Raymon Tatham.

Nettie, a native of Canton, North Carolina moved to Minnesota in 2003 where she loved being close to family and watching the great-grandchildren grow up.  She also enjoyed spending time with her dear friend Mike Wicker, whose family became like her own.  She was a special lady, loved immensely, and will be dearly missed.

Nettie is survived by her daughter, Mira Broyles; granddaughters Laura Broyles (Jason Stien), Heather Doughty (Mike), Camille Wentz (Tim), and Andrea Hawk (James); ten great-grandchildren; sisters Bettie Thompson and Mary Lou Warrick.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00PM on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at The Historic Grove Church located at Crawford Memorial Gardens in Clyde, North Carolina. The family will receive friends following the service.
