A Lovely and Special Lady

Canton- During this Thanksgiving season we give thanks for the life of a lovely and special lady, Patsy Trull Williams, who for 76 years was indeed a blessing to so many.  She peacefully entered into her glorious and eternal Heavenly home on Thursday, November 21, 2019.

Patsy was born October 3, 1943 in Haywood County to the late Frank James Trull and the late Jessie Davis Trull.  She was a wonderful homemaker and had devoted her life to her family. Patsy held great pride and joy in her heart for all of her children and grandchildren who were the light of her life.  Mrs. Williams was a member of Lake Junaluska First Baptist Church where she had served as a preschool Sunday School teacher and also kept the children’s nursery. Most recently Mrs. Williams was a member of North Canton Baptist Church. To know Patsy was to love her and in the words of her family, “She was a loving and caring Mother and Nana to all .”  She will forever be missed.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Kim Lopour; a sister, Mary Lou Lee; a niece, Pam Crawford and a nephew, Ryan Trull.

Surviving are her loving and devoted  husband of 33 years, Charles Williams of Canton; her children, Canaday Thomas of Waynesville, Trish Treadway of Canton, Robin Robinson of Canton, Penny Smith of Mills River, Jennifer Singleton and her husband, Jack of Canton, Clark Robert Williams and his wife, Jenny of Waynesville and Kile Davis of Asheville; 16 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren  and little blessing on the way; a sister, Martha Lyle and her husband, Charles of Waynesville; a brother, William Ralph Trull of Canton ; many nieces, nephews and special friends.

A funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Williams will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at North Canton Baptist Church. Officiating will be her grandson, Pastor Zachary Williams. The family will be receiving friends at the church one hour prior to the funeral service. Burial will be in Bethel Community Cemetery. Grandsons will be serving as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to North Canton Baptist Church, 735 North Canton Road, Canton, NC 28716.
