Family: Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers during this time of sadness. Phillip was such a gentle giant. I got to know him when my son Chad Johnson worked along side him at the mill before he left to go to Highway Patrol school, and it meant a lot to Chad for him to show up for his graduation from there as well. He always asked about Chad every time he saw me, and for that I know he was praying for him as well. Heaven is surely a brighter place with him there. Hold on to the memories for they will always keep him with you. Knowing this is a temporary goodbye will hopefully bring you peace.
