Forever Missed

Photo of Robert Jason Tilley - 1977-2023

It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of our son, husband, father, brother, and friend, Robert Jason Tilley.

Jason was born during the winter season on December 6, 1977, and entered into his eternal place in heaven of peace and rest on September 10, 2023.

We give thanks for Jason's life and the 45 years he has been a blessing to us and we rejoice knowing Jason chose to give his life to Christ and will spend eternity in Heaven.

Jason chose to be an organ donor, to give the gift of life to others and bring hope to families and their loved ones. His legacy will live on forever.

Jason was preceded in death by his daughter and his "angel", Gracie Jane Tilley; maternal grandfather, Jack Blalock and paternal grandmother, "Nannie" Evelyn Tilley.

He is survived by his parents, Keitha Blalock and Doug Tilley, and wife and bonus mom Carolyn; Jason's wife, Christy Boyd Tilley, and step-daughters, Rylie and Erin; Jason's sister, April Tilley Brewton and her husband Gus along with April's children, Camden. Reece and Sailor; maternal grandmother, Mary Blalock; paternal grandfather, "Papaw" Spencer Tilley; and many dear friends and other family members.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00PM, Friday, September 15, 2023, at Mountain View Church of God in Canton. The Tilley family invites everyone to "come as you are" and join us in celebrating Jason's life.

Crawford / Ray Funeral Home and Cremation Service is honored to be caring for the Tilley family.

I thank God and have thanked God so many times for Jason! He’s been the topic of many of my Sunday school lessons. Why? Because he is, in part, the reason I am where I am today. He took me to church where I was introduced to the man who changed my life forever, Jesus. And although I was devastated to hear of Jason’s going home, I couldn’t be sad for him, because he was just that…. Home! With his little Angel and with our Savior! Keitha, Doug, April, I love you all very much. You all hold a very special place in my heart as well. You all will be in my prayers in the days to come as will the entire family. Praise God Jason! I will see you again!
