Ronnie Medlin
Always Remembered
Ronnie Medlin of Haywood County passed away unexpectedly, but peacefully in his sleep the morning of Wednesday, September 22, 2021.
He was a faithful and loving husband of 50 years to wife Linda, a proud father to Ronna and Sean and an absolute rock star to his grandchildren, Ryan, Jessica, Kiana, Brandon, Andrew and Taylor.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Annie Medlin who had resided in Canton and is survived by his sister, Dianne.
Following his retirement from Champion International, Ronnie enjoyed his days of “ loafing” around town, tinkering in the garage and reading. He was a wealth of knowledge, knowing a little bit about everything and constantly entertaining family with stories.
A private family service will be held at a later date for Ronnie to be laid to rest at Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery where he was a member of the church.
In lieu of flowers, please support the Wake Forest Burn Center, Medical Center Blvd., Winston Salem, NC 27157. It was because of their great care that we were able to receive 19 extra years with Ronnie that truly changed the course of our family.
