Shea Ann Sawyer
Our Ray of Light
"May there be comfort in knowing that someone so loved
will never be forgotten."
Bethel- Shea Ann Sawyer, age 15, a beautiful ray of light in all our lives, passed away at her home on Thursday, November 17, 2022.
Shea was born August 26, 2007 in Buncombe County and is the daughter of Tim Sawyer and Casey Queen Sawyer. There are many wonderful memories that we each hold in our hearts of Shea and we shall treasure these every single day. Shea was indeed a selfless and caring young lady, always thinking of others. She enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially playing and having fun in the woods with her brother. Also reading and building with her legos were favorite pastimes of Shea. She attended Haywood Early College, which was an important part of her life. Shea loved school, loved her teachers, and always wanted to excel in her studies for her teachers who she appreciated deeply. She spent many hours listening to music and playing her ukulele. Shea was so very loved by her family and her friends. She will be forever remembered and cherished and never ever forgotten. In the words of those who loved her, “One day we will see you again “Sweet Girl”.
Surviving in addition to her parents are her sisters, Maggie Mull and Kerry Sawyer; her brother, Coleman Sawyer; grandmothers, Muriel Sawyer and Becky Chambers; great-grandmother, Clara Queen; aunts and uncles, Jason and Nan, Lance and Jocie and Mikel and Lindsay; cousins, Chloe, Peyton, David, Abigail and Rayna; and a multitude of friends.
