Suzanne “Susan” Marie Burnette, age 54, a beautiful and loving lady passed away Saturday, August 22, 2020.

She was born September 26, 1965 in Mars Hill. Susan loved spending time outdoors and she loved being with people. Everyone who knew her loved her.

Some of Susan’s favorite joys were her animals, especially her cats, Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, Dr. Pepper, cheeseburgers along with a cold delicious milkshake.

Suzanne was preceded in death by her father, Archie and her beloved aunt Ola.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her children, Jacob and Olivia; her mother, Lee; her brother, Danny; and her sisters, Marsha and Sandi. Susan also loved and cared for her husband, Chris; her mother-in-law, “Mama Jean”, and her father-in-law, Ulus.

Private services to honor Susan will be held at a later date.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the entire medical staff who have cared for Susan over the years and been a blessing to her family.
