Clyde- Virginia Lee Murray Chambers, a beloved sweet and kind lady, passed away Monday, October 4, 2021.
Virginia was born March 7, 1946 to the late Lee Murray and the late Glenna Smith Murray. She had made her home in Haywood County all of her life and she was a devoted homemaker. She was an amazing cook and she truly enjoyed preparing wonderful meals for all her family. Virginia’s family and her grandchildren were the light of her life. The wonderful memories that she held in her heart of going to Lake Chatuge were always cherished by Virginia and all her family. Mrs. Chambers had attended Beaverdam Baptist Church. We give thanks for the life of our mother, grandmother, great –grandmother and sister and the blessing she was to everyone who knew her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Chambers; grandchildren, Cassey Chambers, Terry Riddle, and Jasmine Gentry; her sister, Mildred Early; and a brother, Robert Murray.
Surviving are her children, Jeff Chambers and Tina of Canton, Jackie Chambers and Sheila of Candler, and Lisa Riddle of Candler; grandchildren, Jake, Kara, Justin, Katelyn, Stephanie, Tiffany, Andrea, Samantha, Jessica, and Tia; several great-grandchildren; a sister, Ola Mae Williams of Tennessee; and many dear friends.
A private family celebration of life service for Mrs. Chambers will be held at a later date.
