Waynesville-   During the afternoon of Wednesday, February 22, 2023 Yvette Duho Scruggs, age 74, peacefully entered into eternal paradise.

Yvette was born May 13, 1948 and her entire life has been dedicated to caring for others. She loved her family with all her heart and soul and she was a proud wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant and had been employed with Silver Bluff  Village for 27 years. Each working day Yvette  blessed her patients with her caring heart and she was just like a beautiful ray of sunshine bringing happiness to the nursing home patients that truly adored her.

Her family was her pride and joy and Yvette cherished the time she spent with her loving husband, Dwain; her children, Nathalie, Jerry, Jeff and Glenn; her step-sons, Dee, Brian and Wally; grandchildren, Tony and Tasha; great-granddaughters, Tannon and Baylee and great-grandson,Teegan.

Yvette’s family will carry her love and memory with them in their hearts and minds forever.

Would like to send my condolences to Yvettes family. I worked at Silver Bluff Nursing home with Yvette in the skilled and rehab department. She loved her residents and co workers. She was a hard worker and she will be greatly missed! Now you can rest!

Mrs. Scruggs was the neighborhood sunshine. She always had the passing wave and smile to share. She will be missed.
